VP, Product Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Lead a dynamic product team dedicated to Smartsheet's extensive Applied AI product strategy.

• Outline the strategic roadmap for conversational interfaces, MCP, automation, specialized agents, evaluation infrastructure, and AI-enhanced customer features.

• Take ownership of AI portfolio business outcomes, success metrics, targets, and accountability.

• Construct data and evaluation foundations to assess AI feature performance and inform prioritization decisions.

• Implement, learn, and adapt in agile cycles.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Pricing and Packaging, and Sales on the Go To Market strategy.

• Partner with Customer Excellence and Sales leadership on AI implementation, responsible AI governance, and AI-driven automation.

• Create engaging, intuitive, accessible, and reliable AI experiences with design leadership.

• Keep track of AI market trends, competitive advancements, and emerging use cases.

• Build and nurture a world-class product management team.

• Report directly to the Chief Product and Technology Officer.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience as a product manager for software products; B2B or B2C cloud experience is preferred.

• More than 15 years of experience in a managerial role.

• Proven experience in developing and launching AI features or AI-driven products.

• Strong understanding of generative AI, agentic systems, and responsible AI practices.

• Experience collaborating with UX and engineering teams.

• A deep commitment to customer satisfaction and teamwork.

• A passionate drive with exceptional communication skills to engage with customers, colleagues, and executives.

• Enthusiasm for web-based business software.

• Capability to evaluate and discuss technical concepts effectively.

• Experience in data analytics and visualization.
