This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take ownership of the Merchandising Business Enablement roadmap, ensuring alignment with both business and technology objectives.
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate merchandising and inventory requirements into product deliverables.
• Prioritize the backlog based on user requirements, business value, complexity, dependencies, and available capacity.
• Work alongside software and data engineering teams to provide incremental user value.
• Link inventory and assortment planning requirements to effective technology solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver capabilities and manage interdependencies.
• Contribute to the development of merchandising and inventory planning technology strategy.
• Balance business demands with scalable, enterprise-wide solutions.
• Oversee integrations, APIs, data flows, and partner platforms within a complex ecosystem.
• Facilitate communication, training, adoption, and readiness for change.
• Define and monitor product outcomes, adoption rates, efficiency, data quality, and overall business impact.
• Clearly communicate, influence decisions, and align teams on priorities and trade-offs.
• 2 to 4 years of experience as a product owner or product manager; experience in retail technology is advantageous.
• Familiarity with merchandising, inventory planning, supply chain, forecasting, or related areas in retail.
• Proven experience in delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions.
• Background in collaborating with software vendors and implementation partners.
• Ability to align data definitions between business and engineering teams.
• Understanding of sales growth, inventory efficiency, margins, and profitability.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and influence.
• Capability to convert complex and ambiguous business needs into clear requirements, priorities, and practical trade-offs across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts and adopt a practical product mindset.
