• Formulate and implement the logistics, repair, and distribution network planning strategy.
• Establish a standardized process for demand planning and forecasting that aligns with financial predictions.
• Oversee the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure supply and demand equilibrium, identify potential risks, and promote proactive decision-making.
• Develop capacity models aimed at optimizing resource utilization to meet customer demands.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure efficient inventory management across various regions and depots.
• Perform operational productivity assessments and spearhead global inventory optimization projects.
• Create and automate KPI reporting for both internal stakeholders and clients.
• Evaluate business and financial outcomes to facilitate strategic decision-making.
• Track and enhance forecasting precision and operational effectiveness using performance metrics.
• Collaborate with procurement, forecasting, business development, and other teams to synchronize operations with demand planning.
• Work with clients and actuaries to project volume requirements and confirm assumptions.
• Propel continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.
• Supervise and guide a team of directors and managers in planning, analytics, procurement, and order management.
• Offer coaching, career growth opportunities, and performance management to cultivate a high-performing team.
• Oversee inventory budgets exceeding $100M, maximizing margin growth through effective balancing of supply and demand.
• Assist in cost-reduction initiatives while upholding high service standards.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or related areas, with at least 3 years in a leadership position managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong expertise in forecasting and inventory planning systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables, trend analysis, and modeling).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional process enhancements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence at the executive level.
