Credit Products – Outsourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Oversee relationships with external underwriting support vendors.

• Work in conjunction with Credit Products leadership to create and implement outsourcing strategies.

• Accountable for vendor governance, contract management, and performance oversight.

• Engage with vendors, negotiate service agreements, and formalize contracts.

• Ensure that contracts align with compliance requirements, performance standards, and organizational value.

• Maintain an organized repository of third-party vendors and their contracts.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and map out outsourcing opportunities.

• Ensure the integration of third-party resources into operational workflows.

• Act as a subject matter expert and point of contact for underwriting support services.

• Lead teams while supporting their coaching and professional development.

• Participate in initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (4 years or equivalent) in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.

• At least 7-10 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector.

• Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.

• Experience in managing third-party vendor services, credit underwriting, and portfolio management, or a combination of these areas.

• Excellent organizational, negotiation, influencing, and project management abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess outsourcing opportunities and enhance vendor contributions.

• Proficient in managing initiatives across different functions and aligning third-party resources with business objectives.

• Familiarity with banking software platforms such as nCino and AFS.
