Technology Sourcing Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete cycle of technology sourcing projects, including strategy development, identifying suitable potential partners, outreach, competitive bidding, pricing and contract negotiation, as well as contract approval.

• Establish strong relationships with external vendor partners and internal business stakeholders.

• Manage multiple projects at once—from quick contract renewals to comprehensive new strategic partnerships.

• Maintain a comprehensive database of partnerships, utilizing data-driven approaches, and deliver clear reporting to management concerning the status of renewals and other critical contract terms.

• Evaluate spending and additional data to address issues, monitor purchasing activities, and perform benchmarking analyses.

• Guarantee that all contracts are executed and cataloged properly, ensuring that approved payments are in accordance with contractual terms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong comprehension of Technology Vendor Management and Sourcing, including software, hardware, telecommunications, or data centers.

• Capability to effectively navigate a diverse array of projects across the organization, many of which are highly technical.

• Analytical experience rooted in solid business and finance principles.

• Exceptional communication abilities in all formats—written, presentation, and negotiation.

• Skill in collaborating effectively with C-suite executives, senior leaders, and experienced supplier partners.

• Passion for engaging with diverse and dispersed teams throughout the company on a daily basis.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• Ideally, a minimum of 4 years (or more) of experience related to technology sourcing.
