This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska, +2 more states.
• Establishes the strategic vision and operational framework for the Retirement Consultant organization to provide tailored and scalable engagement that enhances participant outcomes.
• Promotes education concerning retirement readiness and financial decision-making that translates into actionable steps, thereby improving savings rates, financial literacy, asset consolidation, and retirement preparedness.
• Drives asset retention and growth, including IRA rollovers, plan roll-ins, and account consolidation, while developing a strategy to broaden the team's scope to support the sale of retail retirement income solutions (e.g., annuities) and the adoption of voluntary benefits.
• Utilizes data, AI, and digital tools (such as next-best action, personalization, and workflow automation) to enhance reach, effectiveness, and efficiency.
• Leads and cultivates a national retirement consultant team with robust capabilities in participant education, engagement, and retirement-related discussions. Uses data to provide strategic recommendations and future engagement strategies.
• Collaborates across product and distribution teams to boost the adoption of retirement plan features, managed accounts, financial wellness programs, and retail retirement income solutions.
• Serves as a thought leader on participant behavior, engagement strategies, and retirement trends to guide business and product direction.
• Over 12 years of experience in retirement plan services that directly pertains to the responsibilities outlined.
• A minimum of 5 years in managerial, supervisory, and/or demonstrable leadership roles, including influencing senior management.
• Proven track record in leading and scaling participant engagement or client-facing models.
• Extensive knowledge of defined contribution plans, participant education, and retirement income concepts.
• Demonstrated capability to drive asset growth (including rollovers, retention, and consolidation).
• Experience utilizing AI, automation, and digital tools to enhance engagement and scalability.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Must obtain FINRA SIE, S6, S63 within 90 days of hire (pre-registration preferred).
• Must secure Life & Health within 90 days of hire (pre-licensing preferred).
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
