This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.
• Create and implement a scalable sales strategy aimed at achieving and surpassing revenue goals
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Account Executives (AEs)
• Drive the acquisition of new business
• Collaborate with executive leadership to enhance the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, pricing, and sales enablement efforts
• Oversee pipeline generation, forecasting, and quota achievement across all sales teams
• Ensure discipline in CRM (Salesforce), accurate forecasting, and decisions based on data
• Work closely with Marketing to optimize lead generation and account-based marketing (ABM) strategies
• Partner with Customer Success to guarantee smooth transitions and identify opportunities for expansion
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), quotas, and compensation structures to inspire and retain top talent
• Implement sales playbooks, training initiatives, and competitive tactics to enhance win rates
• Monitor market trends, competitive challenges, and customer feedback to refine product positioning
• Over 10 years of experience in B2B enterprise software sales leadership
• At least 5 years in a VP/SVP-level position (preferably in SaaS, supply chain, or retail/manufacturing technology)
• Demonstrated success in scaling sales teams within high-growth environments
• Strong expertise in forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, and CRM (Salesforce)
• Experience in selling complex, high-annual contract value (ACV) solutions (deals of $250K or more) to enterprise clients
• Outstanding coaching, hiring, and team development abilities
• Capability to collaborate with key leaders to align Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success for a unified GTM approach
• Professional proficiency in both Italian and English is required
