Salesforce Development Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 1–5 Salesforce developers, administrators, and QA engineers located in India.

• Take charge of hiring and performance management: conduct interviews, establish performance objectives, provide evaluations, and oversee career development plans.

• Cultivate a culture of ongoing learning, accountability, and technical excellence within the team.

• Act as the main technical liaison between the US and India development teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.

• Design, create, and implement robust, scalable Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and declarative platform tools.

• Manage CPQ quoting and pricing rule design — overseeing product catalogs, pricing waterfall configurations, approval workflows, and quote template logic.

• Conduct technical design reviews to ensure solutions adhere to security, performance, and governor limit standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 7 years of hands-on Salesforce configuration and development experience.

• More than 3 years of experience leading a team of Salesforce developers and/or administrators.

• Proven experience in delivering projects across Sales Cloud, CPQ & Billing, and Revenue Cloud.

• Expert-level skills in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.

• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce CPQ, including product rules, pricing rules, quote templates, approval workflows, and advanced approvals.

• Strong practical experience with Salesforce Billing, including invoice runs, payment gateways, revenue recognition, and financial close processes.

• Familiarity with Revenue Cloud / RLM (Revenue Lifecycle Management) configuration and data model.

• Experience with integrations involving MuleSoft, DocuSign/Conga, Sage Intacct, and data warehouse platforms like Snowflake.
