This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Join the Executive Team of our organization, fostering our culture and guiding us in our mission to revolutionize finance.
• Define the vision, objectives, and operational cadence for fundraising and volunteer engagement, ensuring alignment with our strategy, revenue goals, and program results.
• Take ownership of the metrics — the pipeline, forecasts, and the strategies to achieve them — directing daily fundraising and volunteer engagement initiatives throughout our organization.
• Develop and manage the fundraising operating system (including KPIs, dashboards, meeting schedules, and pipeline assessments) that provides leadership with a transparent view of performance and projections.
• Oversee budgeting and resource allocation, anticipating seasonal fluctuations in donor activity and adjusting strategies as needed.
• Mentor and guide two direct reports, including a fundraiser and a revenue operations manager, enhancing their performance and contributions.
• Create, mentor, and nurture a high-performing fundraising team that amplifies our collective momentum rather than bearing it alone.
• Implement the systems, rhythm, and accountability necessary for individual giving and engagement to grow exponentially as the team scales.
• Foster a culture of trust, ownership, and continuous improvement among your team members — including both fundraisers and operations personnel.
• Collaborate closely with the Partnership, Events, and Marketing teams to guarantee a positive donor and volunteer experience, while establishing cohesive forecasting.
• Personally identify, cultivate, solicit, and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) donors, building genuine relationships that motivate significant, ongoing support.
• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in nonprofit fundraising, major gifts, or philanthropy related to finance, education, leadership development, or mission-driven organizations.
• At least 3 years of experience in building, managing, and developing high-performing teams across various workstreams and timelines.
• Proven track record in sourcing, closing, and managing major gifts, along with the capacity to develop and scale this function.
• Demonstrated experience in creating systems, teams, and processes while managing hundreds of diverse relationships (e.g., donors, volunteers, advisors).
• Ability to take ownership and execute in dynamic, deadline-oriented, high-autonomy environments — you establish structure and take initiative without waiting for direction.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write quickly and accurately, serving as a credible and persuasive representative of the organization to affluent leaders.
• Proven capacity to develop and implement a fundraising or revenue strategy with clear objectives, data-driven insights, and measurable results.
• Comfortable working within a fully remote team and able to travel 10-20% of the time for off-site engagements and donor meetings.
• 401(k) match (100% match up to 5% of base salary)
• Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance
• Unlimited PTO; all federal holidays are observed
• Quarterly team offsites with all expenses covered for in-person attendance
• A high-growth culture that accelerates your professional development
• A unique organization dedicated to ensuring the holistic well-being of all team members
