This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Act as a physician leader and representative for Tempus’ Medical Affairs division.
• Assist in establishing and nurturing clinical relationships and partnerships with health systems.
• Oversee Tempus speaker initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional teams of data scientists and PhDs to facilitate external communications and customer engagements for the organization.
• Contribute medical insights to commercial strategies, disease-state speaker programs, and marketing materials to maintain scientific accuracy.
• Provide medical guidance to enhance corporate documentation and marketing materials through the medical legal review process.
• Convey customer feedback and market insights to Tempus leadership.
• MD degree with a focus on oncology clinical training (breast oncology preferred).
• A minimum of 10 years of clinical practice and experience is mandatory.
• Prior experience in leading teams composed of medical professionals, physicians, communication specialists, and commercial experts.
• Background in clinical research and study design.
• Preferred experience in establishing a medical affairs strategy within a corporate environment.
• Exceptional communication skills related to the Tempus mission and capabilities.
• Creative thinking in developing external partnerships with individual researchers, academic institutions, collaborative groups, and non-profit organizations.
