VP of Operations, AI Simulation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver operational support and guidance to the BioSim and ChemSim divisions, overseeing daily business functions, including identifying synergies in resource distribution and implementing scalable systems.

• Lead the shift from high-growth experimentation to established operations by enhancing talent density and capacity among PhDs, SWEs, and GTM specialists.

• Take charge of hands-on, end-to-end execution, monitor progress across complex milestones, and swiftly reallocate resources (both financial and human) as needs evolve.

• Drive the growth of the Chemical Simulation business unit during its expansion phase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in operational leadership, including roles as COO, Managing Director, or Head of Operations at venture-backed scaled startups; demonstrated success in scaling companies from Series B to mature operations or achieving successful exits.

• Profound understanding of AI or high-compute environments; capability to convert the needs of Research Scientists and Executives into actionable strategies that meet business objectives.

• A "Builder-Operator" mindset with the agility to switch from in-depth spreadsheet/Jira analysis to strategic planning at the board level.

• Demonstrated proficiency in performing root-cause analysis on operational delivery challenges and interpersonal dynamics (attrition, team friction) within multidisciplinary teams.
