Senior Artificial Intelligence Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +25 more states.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete delivery process of production AI platforms.

• Direct solution architecture, manage model pipelines, and design workflows involving multiple agents.

• Develop reusable SDKs and frameworks.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, security, and governance teams.

• Ensure that AI systems are scalable, observable, cost-effective, and compliant.

• Define design patterns and enhance operational pipelines.

• Facilitate the internal reuse of validated solutions.

• Manage the entire lifecycle from architecting secure, compliant solutions to deploying and scaling them in production.

• Engage with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, multi-agent orchestration, and API integrations for EHR, CRM, and member portals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in delivering production AI/ML systems. (Preferred)

• Master's degree or equivalent experience (Preferred)

• Certification/Licensure including Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect, or ML specialty credentials (Preferred)

• Minimum of 5 years in production-grade AI/ML (Required)

• At least 3 years of experience in building and operating production AI/ML systems, including training, deployment, and monitoring (Required)

• One year of experience delivering GenAI/LLM or RAG solutions to production, or equivalent experience through open-source contributions or startups. (Required)
