This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership and expand your market by generating a qualified pipeline and acquiring new clients.
• Develop and execute a localized engagement strategy aimed at attracting founders.
• Spearhead the event strategy in your area, which includes both organizing and participating in impactful community events (approximately 25% travel).
• Cultivate and sustain relationships with venture firms, law firms, accelerators, and innovation hubs that can reliably facilitate founder introductions.
• Convert market insights and community feedback into practical strategies for internal teams.
• Collaborate with business development colleagues to enhance standardized processes across various markets.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Over 15 years of demonstrated expertise in Business Development, Partnerships, or Sales roles with a focus on ecosystem development, community engagement, or pipeline creation.
• Proven ability to identify and nurture new business opportunities through relationships and community involvement.
• Exceptional networking, presentation, and communication skills.
• Experience in hosting or organizing events that yield substantial business results.
• Knowledge of SaaS business models and the venture/startup landscape.
• Proven history of establishing new markets, broadening networks, and transforming relationships into revenue streams.
• Existing connections within venture capital firms, law firms, or startup ecosystems are highly preferred.
