VP of Branch Production

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a bridge between the organization’s internal teams and external clients.

• Manage the loan process from inception to completion.

• Engage with borrowers to help them comprehend loan programs, associated costs, and relevant loan documentation.

• Examine and audit income, assets, run Desktop Underwriter (DU), and verify credit documentation within the mortgage file to ensure loan viability.

• Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and provide them to borrowers, including but not limited to rate disclosures and re-disclosure packages.

• Aid in overseeing a pipeline that includes Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA loans, as well as 203k, Jumbo, and reverse mortgage products.

• Ensure the loan structure aligns with the borrower’s financial situation for optimal program selection.

• Inspect the file for any missing documentation that supports loan approval.

• Pre-underwrite items to facilitate the loan approval process.

• Input data for disclosures, present options, and configure loans to best suit the borrower’s needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in residential mortgage processing.

• Familiarity with Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS) is preferred.

• Previous underwriting or processing experience is advantageous.

• Understanding of RESPA guidelines and all relevant mortgage and consumer regulations.

• Proficiency in DU, LP, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows.

• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

• Outstanding communication abilities.

• Excellent prioritization and time management skills to adhere to deadlines.
