This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the strategy and objectives for medical affairs across the Americas (US, Canada, LATAM).
• Manage operations, budget, and tactical implementation while upholding excellence in Medical Affairs.
• Enhance partnerships with key opinion leaders and implement strategic initiatives for scientific engagement.
• Direct strategy and tactical implementation across various assets and lead a team of Medical Directors.
• Responsible for strategies related to clinical trial recruitment to ensure timely trial development.
• Work collaboratively with internal departments to provide Medical Affairs input into product development and launch strategies.
• An advanced scientific, healthcare, or medical degree (e.g., PharmD, PhD, MD) is required.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in biotech, pharma, or related fields is required.
• At least 5 years in a leadership capacity is required.
• Strong preference for expertise in Prostate, Renal, and Neuro-Oncology radiopharmaceuticals.
• Proven ability to cultivate strong partnerships across functions and demonstrate diplomacy.
• Willingness to travel 50-75% regionally, with potential for international travel.
• Extensive knowledge of comprehensive medical affairs activities including key pivotal trials and the medical landscape of prostate, renal, and neuro-oncology.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical context with a solid understanding of relevant compliance and regulatory environments.
• A demonstrated history of success in medical strategy, product launches, lifecycle strategy, data generation gaps, and thought leader engagement.
• Background in developing package inserts, as well as designing trials for EAP and Registries.
• Ability to lead, inspire, and influence a US MA team within a matrix structure through vision and strategic direction.
• Self-aware, reflective, and a receptive listener open to feedback and self-improvement.
• Proven business acumen; outstanding people management and leadership skills capable of managing complex technical organizations.
• A track record of successfully executing and achieving results through leading others while setting a personal example.
• Demonstrated capacity for building successful relationships and developing partnerships with key business partners and investigators.
• Strategic thinker with an innovative mindset.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at forging relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Exceptional multi-tasking capabilities, highly detail-oriented, and organized with a consistent approach to work.
