This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

đź“‹ Description

• Take ownership of a marketing strategy that directly drives growth—integrating brand positioning, buyer education, and pipeline development into a cohesive, measurable framework.

• Provide Branching Minds with a distinct and consistent voice in the marketplace: a narrative that resonates with district leaders, differentiates from competitors, and remains effective across all channels and audiences.

• Enable the entire organization to communicate uniformly — ensuring Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams are aligned on messaging and confident in narrating the Branching Minds story.

• Collaborate closely with Revenue Operations to establish a robust marketing data and analytics infrastructure, monitor performance against revenue objectives, identify effective strategies, and swiftly reallocate resources when necessary.

• Enhance the channel mix to boost customer lifetime value while lowering acquisition costs over time — adopting a rigorous, test-and-learn approach to any new channel investments.

• Stay proactive in the market so Branching Minds leads discussions rather than merely responding — tracking competitive actions, policy changes, and buyer trends that influence the MTSS landscape.

• Maintain a deep curiosity about buyer behavior — leveraging research, data, and firsthand feedback to develop campaigns and content that truly engage district leaders.

• Create a reliable pipeline engine that sales can depend on — ensuring a consistent, high-quality flow of leads from multi-channel campaigns targeting the right buyers at the right times.

• Forge a genuine partnership with Sales: agree on lead quality standards, establish shared pipeline goals, and create feedback mechanisms that enhance both teams over time.

• Drive revenue growth from existing customers, not solely new ones — by identifying cross-sell and expansion opportunities and creating campaigns that promote them.

• Equip the revenue team to secure more deals: develop sales enablement materials, tools, and programs that shorten sales cycles and improve conversion rates.

• Ensure that every interaction—whether an ad, email, event, or conversation—reflects a cohesive brand message that builds trust with buyers over time.

• Transform Branching Minds owned events into experiences that strengthen community ties, showcase impact, and generate substantial pipeline.

• Deepen connections with existing partners and districts through marketing initiatives that add value, reinforce impact, and encourage renewal.

• Launch new products and features effectively: collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Product, and Learning Science to create go-to-market strategies that convert genuine excitement into adoption and sustained usage.

• Turn satisfied customers into a growth channel — establish an advocacy program that transforms district champions into credible, visible advocates for Branching Minds.

• Position Branching Minds as the undisputed authority on MTSS: cultivate thought leadership, research, and content that influences the field's approach to student support.

• Build a team that delivers exceptional impact — recruiting creative, data-driven marketers who are deeply committed to the mission and evolve into leaders themselves.

• Leverage HubSpot as a true competitive advantage — constructing the architecture, workflows, and training that enable both marketing and sales to operate with clean, reliable data.

• Transform the Branching Minds website into a high-performing demand channel, continually enhancing conversion rates, content quality, and user experience.

• Establish operational clarity for the team: create a prioritization system, asset pipeline, and communication schedule that facilitates smooth workflow without chaos.

• Set the benchmark for branding throughout the organization — ensuring that Sales, Professional Services, RFPs, and all other functions communicate consistently and present a unified company image.

• Contribute to defining Branching Minds' culture and organizational design as a key member of the Revenue leadership team — providing insights on major decisions beyond just marketing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong personal alignment with Branching Minds' mission — demonstrating genuine care for the students affected by this work, evident in your operational approach.

• Proven experience in developing demand generation programs that significantly impact revenue — with measurable pipeline, conversion, and growth metrics under your responsibility.

• A compelling storyteller who can convey the urgency and humanity of complex education technology — particularly to district leaders, principals, and educators.

• Truly collaborative and solution-focused — thriving in a nimble, fast-paced environment where resourcefulness and shared credit serve as competitive advantages.

• Possesses strategic versatility: comfortable setting a three-year vision while also managing HubSpot dashboards or fine-tuning content.

• A leader who fosters growth in others and sets high expectations: providing coaching for development, delegating with confidence, ensuring strong accountability, and cultivating teams that endure beyond your direct involvement.

• Extensive knowledge of marketing automation (HubSpot preferred) and a genuinely data-driven approach to optimizing campaigns.

• Expertise in leveraging key marketing channels (e.g., paid search, event marketing, SEO) to accelerate pipeline growth.

• An innovative thinker who embraces AI and continuously seeks new tools to maximize impact and efficiency.

• Over 8 years of B2B marketing experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership position; a background in EdTech or SaaS is highly desirable.
