
VP, Manufacturer & Specialty Network Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Collaborate with the SVP to assess and enhance the integration of GPO enrollment, WAC/direct purchasing, and distribution terms to minimize Leap's drug acquisition costs over time.
β’ Model and evaluate how modifications to the manufacturer, pharmacy, and network mix impact acquisition costs, manufacturer value, and employer savings concurrently.
β’ Convert acquisition-cost strategies into value propositions for manufacturers and savings narratives for employers.
β’ Bring insights from market and competitive intelligence (PBM, GPO, distributor movements) back into Leap's model design before finalizing manufacturer or distribution agreements.
β’ Oversee and manage a portfolio of manufacturer relationships (market access, brand, and trade contacts) in collaboration with senior manufacturer touchpoints led by the SVP.
β’ Direct the daily execution of manufacturer partnership initiatives.
β’ Develop manufacturer-facing materials, pitch decks, and business reviews in conjunction with the Analytics and Marketing teams.
β’ Represent Leap at manufacturer working sessions, industry conferences (AMCP, ISPOR), and account reviews.
β’ Maintain relationships with specialty pharmacy and distribution partners (wholesalers, GPO contacts).
β’ Assist in navigating REMS requirements, limited-distribution drug (LDD) access, and specialty pharmacy accreditation-related partnerships.
β’ Drive the growth of the LTN: identify geographic and capacity gaps, source new specialty infusion partners, and lead the recruitment and onboarding process.
β’ Act as the main point of contact for LTN provider partners regarding network performance, referral flow, and issue resolution.
β’ Directly oversee the Manufacturer Analytics & Marketing and Manufacturer Account Manager roles, setting priorities and reviewing their outputs.
β’ Collaborate with Clinical, Data & Analytics, and Pharmacy Operations to present Leap's capabilities to manufacturer and network audiences.
β’ Provide the SVP with pipeline visibility, network health and growth reports, and early indicators of manufacturer, distribution, or provider risks.
β’ 8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical market access, specialty pharmacy, distribution/trade, PBM, GPO, health plans, or specialty provider operations, including direct ownership of manufacturer, distributor, or payer relationships.
β’ Proficient understanding of ASP, WAC, GTN, 340B, buy-and-bill, chargebacks, and the economics of specialty infusion site-of-care.
β’ Proven ability to think in commercial models rather than just accounts β adept at evaluating trade-offs across acquisition costs, manufacturer value, and employer savings.
β’ Experience in managing external partner or provider relationships, including contracting, network growth, and performance management.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable creating and presenting manufacturer-facing materials.
β’ 2+ years of people management experience, or a clear readiness to lead a small team.
