Design Lead – Account Hub

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 2 product designers, overseeing daily operations and fostering professional development.

• Take ownership of the overall design vision and implementation for Account Hub.

• Act as the primary design authority for customer-facing account-level aggregation across various brands.

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and brand teams whose journeys and data contribute to Account Hub.

• Determine when patterns for Account Hub should adhere to enterprise-wide global design standards versus custom experience patterns.

• Convert intricate structural requirements into actionable design roadmaps.

• Balance the immediate product deliverables with the long-term expansion of UE Core.

• Foster alignment across matrixed product and brand teams.

• Make decisions regarding trade-offs between global standards and tailored solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic/UX Design, or equivalent practical experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in product design or user experience design, with a proven history of leading teams.

• Demonstrated experience in directly managing or guiding individual contributor designers.

• Proven track record of addressing cross-cutting, platform-level, or multi-product design challenges.

• Strong history of stakeholder management and influencing teams beyond the immediate reporting line.

• A portfolio showcasing shippable customer-facing products along with complex structural or system-level UX work.

• Proficient in modern design tools (e.g., Figma), design system governance, and agile software development processes.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to clearly articulate complex design decisions to non-design executives, engineering leads, and business stakeholders.

• Capacity to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods, operate standard computer equipment, and engage in hybrid team meetings.
