VP Legal Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee and expand Icertis' global Legal Advisory division, assisting corporate legal departments, General Counsel, and leaders in legal operations to utilize Contract Intelligence and AI for enhancing legal processes and business results.

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Solution Advisory, Product Management, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to promote revenue growth, influence product innovation, and reinforce Icertis' leadership in the market.

• Develop and manage a team of Legal Advisors, implement scalable operational frameworks and methodologies, and formulate a comprehensive strategy to enhance customer engagement, legal transformation, and AI integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or a comparable law degree; current or former legal qualification is preferred.

• More than 15 years of experience in legal technology, legal operations, enterprise software, consulting, or corporate legal settings.

• Demonstrated experience working alongside corporate legal departments, General Counsel, Chief Legal Officers, Legal Operations leaders, and other senior legal stakeholders.

• Extensive knowledge in commercial contracting, contract lifecycle management (CLM), governance, compliance, risk management, and legal transformation.

• Capability to counsel executive audiences on contract risks, regulatory compliance, governance, legal operations, and the adoption of AI within legal entities.

• Proven track record in building and leading high-performing advisory teams, including the scaling of global programs and functions.

• Outstanding executive communication, storytelling, and influencing abilities, with the capacity to engage with CEOs, General Counsel, CLOs, CPOs, CIOs, and Board-level stakeholders.

• Strong grasp of value realization, ROI development, digital transformation, along with a passion for AI, innovation, and the future of legal work.
