VP, Head of Data

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the modernization and integration of the enterprise data organization.

• Integrate Data Engineering, Data Science, Revenue Analytics, and Business Intelligence into a unified structure.

• Enhance architectural stability, provide clarity in governance, and accelerate decision-making processes.

• Create a reliable single source of truth for essential enterprise metrics.

• Define and implement a multi-year roadmap for enterprise data.

• Foster a culture of speed and trust in data throughout the organization.

• Supervise applied data science projects, including predictive modeling and experimentation.

• Develop frameworks for data governance and stewardship.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in data, including at least 5 years at the VP/SVP level overseeing multidisciplinary teams in data engineering, analytics, and data science.

• Proven track record of influencing C-suite executives and public company Boards to secure funding and implement enterprise-scale data transformation projects.

• Strong foundational expertise in database architecture, data engineering, or data platform design.

• Demonstrated capability to guide and assess decisions regarding enterprise data platforms, including storage, compute, orchestration, and semantic modeling.

• Established history of directing teams towards the creation of trustworthy, high-integrity data pipelines and environments that serve as a "single source of truth."

• Experience in selecting and refining components of the data stack according to business needs and scalability requirements.

• Practical understanding of AI/ML initiatives with support for rapid model experimentation and production environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
