This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in program initiatives from their inception through to deployment, ensuring alignment with CBM+ business goals and mission objectives.

• Spearhead the development and implementation of machine learning models, statistical analyses, and data experimentation.

• Maintain ownership of the analytical framework, guaranteeing its robustness, reproducibility, and scalability.

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert business queries into data-driven insights and products.

• Enhance and promote standards for experimental design and analysis.

• Supervise data collection and processing, including the implementation and maintenance of ETL pipelines, as well as the cleaning and preprocessing of datasets for use.

• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA), which includes performing statistical analysis and visualization to identify data patterns, correlations, trends, and insights that inform product development.

• Direct the development of machine learning models using regression, classification, clustering, and deep learning while optimizing these models for accuracy, performance, and scalability.

• Work in collaboration with a multi-functional team to integrate models into applications or APIs.

• Regularly monitor deployed models to detect performance drift and degradation.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a US citizen with an active Secret US government clearance. Non-citizens without an active Secret security clearance will not be eligible for this position.

• A Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience is required.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in applied NLP, data labeling, entity or keyword extraction, and related areas.

• Proficient understanding and application of various statistical distributions for data modeling.

• Ability to cultivate positive relationships in a business context.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting technical findings to a variety of audiences.

• Must be a proactive self-starter who can follow direction and execute tasks independently without ongoing supervision.

• Experience with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, model engineering/ML Ops, and related documentation and formatting.

• Familiarity with office productivity software, such as the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and file-sharing applications.

• Willingness to travel as necessary to meet with government clients and stakeholders.
