Senior Epic Data Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Analyzes challenges and formulates solutions related to computer software programs and applications by designing programs or queries to extract complex data from databases.

• Utilizes theoretical knowledge and innovation to develop or implement new technologies.

• Assists in the construction and maintenance of EHR and other clinical or business information system database applications.

• Completes tasks assigned within project and/or tracking systems.

• Engages in planning, designing, and testing interfaces.

• Develops, conducts, and/or coordinates information technology training programs for clinical departments and medical personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Business Administration/Management is required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences is preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in Data Science.

• 3-5 years of experience in computer programming.

• A strong balance of operational experience, project management capabilities, and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with MLH’s policies, procedures, and clinical/business operations.

• Proven knowledge in software business intelligence, data analysis, data mining, and user interface design.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems.

• Competence in verbally and in writing conveying information concepts and methods to non-technical audiences.
