Senior Clinical Data Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Lead data management efforts on studies, ensuring the development of project documentation, system setup, data entry, and validation procedures.

• Take charge of all data management activities in line with client quality standards.

• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for data management activities during meetings with Sponsors.

• Collaborate directly with Sponsors to fully comprehend their requirements.

• Continuously assess client-specific processes to maintain optimal performance for both Sponsors and Fortrea.

• Offer guidance, mentoring, and training to the data management team to uphold best practices.

• Lead studies involving both healthy volunteers and patient populations.

• Organize and prioritize workload and deliverables effectively.

• Be responsible for all assigned data management deliverables in accordance with established timelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or college degree.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in early or late-stage data management, including at least 2 years in direct sponsor management and 2 years in technical mentoring.

• Demonstrated experience in customer negotiations.

• Comprehensive understanding of the clinical trial process, data management, clinical operations, biometrics, and system applications that support operations.

• Proven leadership in guiding project strategies and achieving departmental goals, objectives, and initiatives.

• Strong time management skills and the ability to meet project productivity metrics and deadlines.

• Ability to thrive in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues.

• Experience in representing data management during bid defense meetings.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
