This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Take ownership and spearhead the client’s business within the agency, encompassing marketing strategy, competitive analysis, market research, brand planning, promotional avenues, scientific foundations, and medical/legal compliance.
• Cultivate and sustain senior-level client relationships as a strategic thinker, problem solver, and team leader.
• Guide agency teams in the annual brand planning process.
• Establish and nurture a client/agency team with a strategic focus.
• Direct and inspire Account Directors, Account Supervisors, and Senior Account Executives.
• Mentor team members’ career trajectories and skill enhancement through coaching and ongoing feedback.
• Oversee and assess account financial performance, productivity, and profitability.
• Collaborate with creative teams to conceive and execute innovative work.
• Manage challenges related to timelines and cost efficiencies.
• Propose and oversee activities aimed at strengthening client relationships.
• Enhance and develop internal operating procedures in conjunction with the Project Management Department.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and prospective clients.
• Champion and represent the agency’s vision, mission, and values.
• In-depth and comprehensive knowledge of the pharma/healthcare advertising sector.
• Proficiency in marketing to healthcare audiences, including healthcare professionals, affiliated medical personnel, patients, and caregivers.
• Strong marketing insight and experience leading integrated agency teams in brand planning, budget creation, execution, and evaluation.
• Experience in managing multiple clients and account teams.
• Proven success in building valued relationships with senior-level client management.
• Track record of functioning as a strategic partner to clients.
• Experience in digital and multi-channel marketing.
• Active involvement in new business efforts, planning, and pitch presentations.
• Demonstrated success in identifying opportunities and securing organic client growth.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• Over 12 years of experience with Brand AOR accounts.
• At least 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical advertising agency.
• Minimum of 5 years in leadership and supervisory roles.
• Experience with brand launches is required.
• Proven experience in developing, producing, and leading multi-channel marketing plans and initiatives is required.
• Proficient in creating and delivering presentations using PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel based on client business needs.
• A BA/BS degree is required.
