This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the administration of comprehensive compensation programs, which include salary increases, promotions, market adjustments, and various compensation actions.
• Direct the annual compensation planning cycles, managing timelines, governance, procedures, system configurations, testing, validation, reporting, and providing stakeholder support.
• Administer compensation workflows, approval processes, governance procedures, and the planning system.
• Maintain and manage salary grades, salary bands, salary range structures, and market pricing methodologies.
• Conduct reviews of salary structures, market movement analyses, and evaluations of geographic differentials.
• Spearhead participation in compensation surveys and engage in market benchmarking activities.
• Analyze trends in the market, assess compensation competitiveness, and examine internal pay relationships.
• Perform post-cycle analyses to enhance compensation processes for efficiency, scalability, and effectiveness.
• Govern job families, career levels, job classifications, organizational job structures, and maintain the enterprise job catalog.
• Assess requests for new jobs, modifications to existing jobs, and job retirements.
• Manage the job description library, standards, templates, and documentation practices.
• Lead initiatives related to pay equity, transparency, regulatory reporting, and disclosures pertaining to compensation.
• Investigate pay disparities, analyze compensation trends, and identify compliance risks.
• Oversee processes for salary range disclosures, pay equity reporting, and compensation metrics.
• Stay informed about emerging compensation regulations and reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain compensation policies, guidelines, operating procedures, and governance documentation.
• Establish operational controls, practices for audit readiness, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct audits of compensation practices and compliance reviews.
• Manage reviews of policy exceptions, compensation-related risks, and provide audit support.
• Create compensation dashboards, scorecards, executive reports, and operational metrics.
• Analyze trends in compensation, market competitiveness, workforce dynamics, and pay relationships.
• Collaborate with HR Technology to enhance functionality, implement upgrades, conduct testing, and configure compensation systems.
• Ensure the integrity of compensation data, maintain quality controls, uphold governance standards, and ensure accurate reporting.
• Identify opportunities for automation and utilize Power BI, AI-enabled tools, and data visualization techniques.
• Evaluate and recommend compensation technology, automation workflows, and AI solutions.
• Assist in the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of compensation initiatives.
• Work closely with Benefits, Talent Management, Executive Compensation, HR Technology, Payroll, Recruiting, Finance, and HR Business Partners.
• Lead the planning for implementations, manage change, provide communication support, conduct testing, and ensure operational readiness.
• Design compensation processes and services that are customer-centric.
• Develop and scale foundational compensation administration processes, technology, governance, and operational models.
• Initially serve as an individual contributor and eventually build and lead a compensation administration team.
• 10–12 years of progressive experience in compensation.
• Proficient in global compensation administration, planning, governance, job architecture, market pricing, and compensation technology.
• Experience in supporting compensation programs across various countries and regions.
• Solid grasp of global compensation practices, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations.
• Expertise in broad-based compensation programs, including salary structures, market pricing, annual compensation planning, pay equity, pay transparency, policy administration, and governance.
• Strong understanding of job architecture, job evaluation, career frameworks, and job governance within organizations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with compensation planning systems and HRIS platforms.
• Experience with advanced analytics, Power BI or similar business intelligence tools, automation solutions, and AI capabilities.
• Proven success in implementing process improvements, automation, and scalable solutions.
• Ability to influence and build partnerships across various departments including Compensation, Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Payroll, HR Technology, Legal, and business leadership.
• Exceptional communication and consultation skills.
• Experience in leading teams directly or through project management.
• Comfortable collaborating across North American, EMEA, and APAC time zones.
