Senior Analyst, Credit & Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Oversee and process incoming credit requests via Kissflow queues

• Assess customer financial documents to recommend credit limits and evaluate default risk

• Analyze mark-to-market exposure and forward trading activities with clients and suppliers

• Identify suitable credit support and security measures to mitigate potential risks

• Collaborate with Commercial and Legal departments on credit-related issues

• Assist in maintaining credit policies, underwriting guidelines, and loss-control strategies

• Collect, assess, and analyze customer data for credit recommendations

• Standardize credit reporting, customer credit profiles, and data evaluations across various platforms

• Enhance transparency, minimize handoffs, and improve the efficiency of bad-debt reserves and write-offs

• Facilitate process and system integration between PDI and Oracle ERP environments post-migrations

• Supervise daily operations of an outsourced credit team

• Conduct ad hoc analyses and manage special projects

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in analyzing financial statements and evaluating credit risk

• Familiarity with forward trading principles and mark-to-market exposure

• Advanced skills in Excel with a keen attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous

• Experience with PDI and/or Oracle ERP systems is preferred

• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management abilities

• Capacity to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams

• Customer-centric approach with a balanced perspective on risk

• Solid business acumen and the ability to make informed, data-driven credit decisions

• Commitment to continuous improvement and a readiness to question the status quo

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in credit, risk, or accounting, ideally in commodities, energy, or trading sectors
