VP, Endpoint Platform Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Become a member of the Engineering Leadership Team, guiding the vision, architecture, implementation, and operational excellence of Arctic Wolf's Endpoint Platform.

• Manage a globally distributed engineering team comprising over 150 engineers, managers, architects, and technical leaders located in North America and India.

• Develop the next generation of endpoint protection features while enhancing engineering efficiency, platform scalability, AI advancements, and customer value.

• Craft the long-term engineering strategy and technology roadmap for the Endpoint Platform.

• Lead teams specializing in global software engineering, platform engineering, quality engineering, and site reliability.

• Propel innovation across areas such as EDR, XDR, endpoint telemetry, behavioral analytics, identity protection, and AI-driven security.

• Collaborate with Product Management, Threat Research, AI Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, and Customer Success.

• Implement world-class engineering methodologies, including DevSecOps, CI/CD, observability, secure SDLC, and engineering metrics.

• Attract, nurture, and retain outstanding engineering leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and inclusivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 20 years of software engineering experience, with at least 10 years in an executive engineering leadership role.

• Proven experience in managing globally distributed engineering teams of over 150 personnel.

• Extensive knowledge in endpoint security, EDR/XDR, cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, Kubernetes, microservices, and high-scale telemetry platforms.

• Experience in integrating AI/ML and Generative AI into enterprise software solutions.

• A track record of successfully building engineering organizations during periods of rapid growth and transformation.

• Exceptional executive-level communication skills, engaging effectively with Boards, C-suite executives, customers, and investors.
