Associate Vice President – Service Simplification

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement the strategic framework and operational plan for the enterprise service simplification initiative.

• Develop and sustain a prioritized collection of automation and simplification projects, delivering proposals to the Executive Leadership Team grounded in cost reductions and business value.

• Oversee large-scale, enterprise systems that facilitate process analysis, automation, and service delivery to enhance value for Humana.

• Collaborate across functions to discover and promote further technology-driven simplification initiatives.

• Ensure that automation solutions adhere to the highest standards of precision, dependability, and security, understanding that lapses could lead to substantial business repercussions.

• Spearhead initiatives to automate a significant portion of business processes each year, achieving both personnel efficiencies and increased capacity for higher-value tasks.

• Create and nurture a new team capable of functioning seamlessly from the outset, while closely collaborating with technology, information security, and business partners to safeguard proprietary information.

• Work autonomously with minimal oversight while ensuring strong alignment with business stakeholders and senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's Degree

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree is preferred.

• 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in portfolio management, process enhancement, automation, or related fields.

• Proven track record in leading large-scale, complex projects that have a significant impact on the organization.

• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities, with a talent for influencing executive stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in building and managing high-performing teams in fast-paced, transformation-focused environments.

• Experience in software QA testing for multi-tier enterprise web applications.

• Extensive experience with white-box testing, web-service integration, and server back-end testing.
