This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Oversee a relationship management team dedicated to supporting the portfolio of financial institution clients located on the East Coast.
• Manage a team of Directors who supervise client-facing Relationship Managers.
• Direct the performance of the portfolio in areas including retention, sales, contract renewals, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and assess managers responsible for relationship management activities within the assigned client portfolio.
• Guide managers accountable for team performance, client outcomes, and associate development across the region.
• Enhance portfolio results in terms of retention, sales, renewals, client satisfaction, and strategic account planning metrics.
• Establish and sustain executive-level client relationships to aid in contract strategies, issue resolution, and long-term account planning.
• Assist managers in performance management, workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development tasks.
• Collaborate with sales, product, solution consulting, and operational teams to uncover growth opportunities and meet client business needs.
• Analyze portfolio trends, operating results, and client risks to enhance commercial and service outcomes.
• Over 10 years of experience in relationship management, account management, banking, financial services, or sales within complex client portfolios.
• More than 5 years of experience in managing and developing teams, including leadership roles.
• At least 10 years of experience leading executive client discussions, managing contract renewals, retention planning, and driving revenue growth initiatives.
• Proficient in utilizing account planning, portfolio management, and consultative selling techniques to support banking technology and financial solutions.
• Experience in analyzing portfolio performance, recognizing business risks, and coordinating actions among sales, product, and operational stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, management, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education, relevant experience, and/or military service.
• Background in leading relationship management teams within financial services, core processing, and/or financial technology environments.
• Familiarity with core banking platforms and operations of financial institutions.
• Experience in supporting community and regional financial institutions.
• Proven experience in leading distributed teams across a regional client portfolio.
• Current valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
• Competence in using a computer and audio equipment.
• Willingness to travel frequently; approximately 40–60% travel anticipated.
