Community Development Manager – West (NV, UT, CO, AZ, NM)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead sales initiatives and enhance care pathways for patients with rare diseases within the designated region.

• Expand and develop the rare disease business segment.

• Nurture existing clientele while uncovering growth opportunities through lead and trigger follow-ups.

• Connect with community prescribers and employ digital leads to identify undiagnosed patients or educate prescribers on referring untreated diagnosed patients.

• Collaborate on customer value account plans and establish execution metrics with the Commercial Strategic Account Director (CSAD).

• Sustain stakeholder relationships while providing disease awareness, product insights, and referral assistance.

• Recognize and pursue patient opportunities in Community & Development accounts through strategic prospecting.

• Develop and implement account plans.

• Meet and surpass patient sales goals.

• Establish and maintain connections with healthcare providers.

• Inform healthcare providers about Sanofi’s rare disease portfolio and services.

• Raise awareness regarding the signs and symptoms of lysosomal storage disorders.

• Educate stakeholders on diagnostic pathways, relevant tests, and complimentary testing programs.

• Provide information on product administration, treatment expectations, and adherence strategies.

• Support referral networks and promote referrals to suitable specialists.

• Communicate intricate clinical and reimbursement product details to essential stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Sanofi team members across various functions.

• Travel as necessary to designated accounts and regions.

• Report directly to the Commercial Strategic Account Director (CSAD).


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors.

• Proficient in analyzing complex market scenarios and crafting innovative sales and care-optimization strategies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Experience in rare diseases or specialized therapeutic fields is preferred.

• A digital literacy and a digital-first approach are preferred.

• Resourcefulness and strong prospecting skills are preferred.

• Experience in peer-to-peer healthcare provider education programs is preferred.

• Willingness to travel as required to assigned accounts and regions.
