Outreach Specialist, Equity & Community Impact

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Contribute a genuine student perspective to the initiatives of FoundationCCC.

• Amplify student voices and enhance awareness of programs and services among varied community college demographics.

• Identify and nurture essential stakeholders.

• Enhance student engagement.

• Suggest strategic outreach and partnership possibilities.

• Collaborate with various teams to promote equity and organizational goals.

• Assess engagement patterns and emerging necessities.

• Offer student-informed recommendations to enhance impact.

• Manage projects independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver quality results punctually with minimal supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree or a comparable mix of education and experience.

• At least 2–3 years of experience in student engagement, outreach, or a similar field.

• Background in higher education, nonprofit, or public sector environments.

• Preferably, direct experience as a student within the California Community College system.

• Self-motivated and quick to learn with a proactive approach.

• Highly driven and focused on outcomes.

• Capable of managing projects independently and prioritizing tasks effectively.

• Proficient in delivering quality outcomes on schedule with limited oversight.
