VP, Assistant Treasurer

📋 Description

• Accountable for creating and implementing enterprise-wide liquidity, funding, and capital markets strategies.

• Track liquidity metrics while offering analysis and strategic recommendations.

• Oversee the assessment and execution of funding options.

• Formulate short-term liquidity strategies and enhance cash forecasting processes.

• Generate executive reports and materials for governance meetings.

• Recognize opportunities to improve Treasury operations.

• Offer guidance, mentorship, or expert knowledge to colleagues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Business, or a related field.

• Over 15 years of professional finance experience within life & annuity insurance companies or banking institutions.

• More than 5 years of experience in Treasury or Capital Markets.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of fixed income markets, corporate finance, and company valuation techniques within the Insurance industry.

• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.

• Familiarity with Bloomberg software.
