This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Generate innovative, thought-provoking, and essential “must-have insight” content.
• Create new insights and concepts through thought leadership, providing compelling and actionable strategies to meet client needs that enhance their capacity to respond.
• Conduct thorough analysis to pinpoint the root causes of client barriers or overall requirements, and reframe perspectives to propel strategy forward.
• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing insight positions among a team of analysts.
• Deliver provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders that can influence the direction of a research agenda.
• Investigate, analyze, and forecast market trends and changes to equip clients and vendors with actionable insights.
• Offer clients and prospects actionable recommendations aligned with their specific content area through virtual or in-person engagements.
• Design and present high-value presentation materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings both on and off stage.
• Support sales efforts by acting as the voice of the market to assist Insights teams in content creation and to enhance client engagement, enabling progress on their critical business objectives.
• Ensure high-quality and timely peer review of content.
• Establish credibility as an industry expert representing Gartner insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Actively engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating effectively with colleagues within the Insights community.
• Identify improvements in research processes or develop new methods that enable the team and BTI to deliver excellent service.
• Serve as a mentor and coach, providing support to junior team members.
• Maintain a client-centric approach while proactively facilitating regular engagement between clients and Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 15 years of industry experience focused on emerging technology and business adoption scenarios for senior IT leaders.
• Extensive expertise in one or more of the following areas: AI-optimized data center technologies; AI servers and AI Factory architectures; GPUs, ASICs, and AI accelerators; Cloud and as-a-Service AI infrastructure (such as AWS, Azure, Coreweave, Nebius); AI infrastructure frameworks, including operating systems, resource managers, and AI runtimes.
• Familiarity with major and emerging vendors that have the potential to disrupt the market.
• Technical knowledge of supercomputing techniques.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills; capable of engaging clients and responding effectively to inquiries.
• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis; able to apply patterns and frameworks while articulating and defending conclusions related to client challenges.
• Subject matter expert comfortable with presenting at both large and small-scale speaking events.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• In-depth understanding of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area as well as the dynamics within that market.
• Ability to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflows of others in a multicultural global environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
