📋 Description

• Develop innovative and engaging “must-have insight” content that provokes thought.

• Generate fresh insights and ideas through thought leadership, offering compelling and actionable solutions to meet client needs that enhance their capacity to act.

• Conduct thorough analyses to uncover the root causes of client challenges or needs, reframing perspectives to propel strategy forward.

• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing insight positions among a team of analysts.

• Present provocative, independent insights to Gartner leaders that can influence the direction of research agendas.

• Investigate, analyze, and forecast market trends and shifts to deliver actionable insights to clients and vendors.

• Offer actionable advice to clients and prospects aligned with their content area through virtual or in-person engagements.

• Create and present high-value materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings, both on stage and off.

• Support sales by representing the voice of the market, aiding Insights teams in content creation and enhancing client engagement to progress their critical business priorities.

• Ensure high-quality and timely peer review of content.

• Establish credibility as an industry expert representing Gartner's insights, methodology, and strategies.

• Actively engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating effectively with peers in the Insights community.

• Identify improvements in research processes or develop new procedures that enhance team performance and service delivery.

• Mentor and coach junior team members by providing support and guidance.

• Maintain a client-centric approach, actively encouraging clients to engage frequently with Gartner insights and interactions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.

• Over 15 years of relevant industry or field experience.

• Extensive experience in Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) leadership: Proven record of leading I&O at a high level in mid- to large-sized organizations, with recent hands-on executive experience, including AI use cases and infrastructure requirements across various industries and geographies.

• Expertise in AI infrastructure: Knowledgeable about the essential components such as CPUs, GPUs, ASICs, ARM processors, distributed training pipelines, and model-serving architectures that enable AI.

• Technical proficiency in constructing robust AI infrastructure.

• Business-savvy strategist: Experience in developing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models, ROI analyses, and forecasts for large-scale AI investments, particularly within Infrastructure and Operations.

• Integration architect: Skilled in connecting AI infrastructure across cloud platforms, on-premises systems, AIOps/MLOps, and automation technologies.

• Advocate for security and sustainability: Proven experience applying best practices in governance, compliance, data protection, and green computing.

• Strong organizational abilities; proficient in managing tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and presentation capabilities; adept at engaging clients and effectively addressing inquiries.

• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis; capable of applying patterns and frameworks to derive and defend conclusions related to client challenges.

• Effective communicator skilled in simplifying complex concepts.

• Subject matter expert comfortable presenting at various speaking engagements, both large and small.

• Strong business and financial acumen.

• In-depth knowledge of the global competitive landscape within the subject area and understanding of the market dynamics.

• Ability to work independently while being motivated to cooperate across teams and support colleagues in a multicultural global environment.

• Agile learner, adept at navigating highly matrixed environments.

• Capable of effectively representing Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all organizational levels.

• Willingness and capability to travel up to 25% (as applicable).
