Volleyball Project Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete operational execution for designated volleyball events.

• Supervise the setup, live operations, and post-event evaluations.

• Handle pre-event communications with internal teams, tournament directors, partners, and vendors.

• Ensure the quality, reliability, and operational control of deliveries.

• Coordinate remote assistance when not present on-site.

• Identify areas for enhancement in processes, documentation, and setup workflows.

• Maintain precise tracking of technical equipment and logistics.

• Align operational requirements and playbooks with product advancements.

• Facilitate the introduction of new systems on-site and assist teams in their adoption.

• Directly manage up to eight engineers or senior engineers.

• Provide support to site leads, serve as an escalation point, and boost their confidence in live delivery.

• Conduct performance feedback cycles and keep accurate skill records.

• Aid in the recruitment and advancement of operational staff.

• Gather feedback from technical directors and partner teams.

• Convey operational insights to leadership and development groups.

• Assist in troubleshooting during live events, whether remotely or on-site.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of volleyball rules or experience playing the sport.

• Demonstrated experience in live operational delivery.

• Technical proficiency in hardware installation, networking, and live systems.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to lead small teams effectively.

• Excellent communication skills under pressure; capable of good client interactions.

• Willingness to be flexible with working hours and international travel.
