Voice Actor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct voice narration and character recordings for animated educational videos and associated multimedia products.

• Interpret approved scripts to effectively convey complex behavioral health and clinical information in a clear, engaging, and natural style.

• Provide voice performances that accurately represent the intended tone, pacing, and emotional context of educational materials while ensuring scientific credibility and professionalism.

• Modify vocal style, pacing, and delivery to cater to the needs of various audiences, including Veterans, trauma survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and the general public.

• Collaborate with project managers, video producers, directors, scriptwriters, subject matter experts (SMEs), and government stakeholders during recording sessions to fulfill project goals.

• Engage in recording sessions, rehearsals, retakes, and revisions as needed to guarantee high-quality outputs.

• Pronounce medical, clinical, and technical terms accurately and consistently throughout recordings.

• Adhere to production direction regarding pacing, emphasis, pronunciation, timing, and emotional delivery to ensure synchronization with animation and educational messaging.

• Uphold professionalism during studio and remote recording sessions while adhering to established production timelines and deadlines.

• Ensure all performances are respectful, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and suitable for individuals with a wide range of traumatic experiences.

• Assist in quality assurance by reviewing recordings and participating in revisions when necessary to obtain final government approval.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• At least three (3) years of experience providing professional voice acting or narration services pertinent to the requirements of this task order.

• Proven experience in producing high-quality recorded voice performances for animation, educational media, or similar multimedia productions.
