This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +3 more locations.
• Assess visual materials for quality, clarity, consistency, and overall presentation.
• Utilize professional design judgement when evaluating alternative outputs.
• Analyze composition, hierarchy, typography, spacing, color, and visual balance.
• Identify design choices that enhance or detract from the effectiveness of outputs.
• Offer clear justifications for visual and design preference decisions.
• Evaluate product design concepts and visual experiences against established criteria.
• Analyze usability, refinement, coherence, and professional presentation.
• Compare different approaches to determine which best fulfills the intended purpose.
• Review professionally created graphics, documents, presentations, and related materials.
• Assess whether materials communicate information clearly and effectively.
• Examine consistency across layouts, components, and content structures.
• Utilize experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, Slides, Sheets, Docs, and PDFs.
• Engage in structured evaluation tasks that support advanced AI research.
• Compare AI-generated visual or design outputs with professional benchmarks.
• Provide consistent preference evaluations and articulate design strengths, weaknesses, and trade-offs.
• Contribute expert feedback to enhance AI understanding of visual quality and design aesthetics.
• Professional experience in visual design, graphic design, product design, UX/UI design, presentation design, or a closely related discipline.
• Experience in roles demanding strong visual judgement and adherence to professional presentation standards.
• Proven background in designing graphics, documents, presentations, interfaces, or similar professional materials.
• Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or other comparable professional design tools.
• Comfortable working with Slides, Sheets, Docs, and PDF files.
• Strong grasp of typography, layout, hierarchy, color, spacing, and visual communication principles.
• Native or near-native proficiency in English.
• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain design decisions.
• Residing in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada.
• Capable of working independently within structured research and evaluation workflows.
• Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
• Work must be conducted without utilizing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, institution, or other third parties.
• H1-B and STEM OPT support is not available for this engagement.
• Flexible scheduling based on project requirements.
