Graphic Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Create web graphics, video thumbnails, iconography, and illustrations for the website and social media, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines.

• Develop and format webpages based on wireframes.

• Publish blog articles using WordPress.

• Oversee the organization of digital assets within the content management system (CMS).

• Design production-ready materials such as brochures, banners, signage, and business cards.

• Confirm that print files align with vendor specifications regarding color profiles and bleed requirements.

• Source and edit imagery for email campaigns and social media platforms.

• Create visual diagrams that clarify complex product concepts.

• Export production-ready files in JPG, PNG, PDF, and vector formats.

• Manage the workflow from the initial brief to final publication.

• Uphold the visual integrity of the brand.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 9 years of experience with Adobe Creative Suite, demonstrating expert-level skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• Proven track record in publishing and managing assets within WordPress.

• Capability to construct a high-quality webpage directly from a wireframe.

• A diverse portfolio showcasing excellence in both digital and print design.

• Experience collaborating effectively within remote teams.

• Strong self-starter attitude with the ability to solve problems and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication skills with a proactive stance in identifying risks or delays in projects.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with AI prompting and AI-assisted design workflows (e.g., Claude).

• Nice to have: Skills in Figma and HubSpot.

• Nice to have: Basic video editing capabilities for social media (e.g., Descript).

• Nice to have: Experience in the AV, video production, or B2B technology sectors.

• Nice to have: Background in content marketing and social media strategy.
