📋 Description

• Develops and delivers a DeVry University syllabus that meets the standards set by the local campus and encompasses the terminal course objectives.

• Organizes, prepares, and consistently revises and updates all course materials.

• Utilizes suitable technological options for online platforms and course-related software, including websites, email, and online discussions, to prepare the course and ensure accessibility for students.

• Exemplifies effective oral and written communication that engages students, clarifies concepts, and enhances the learning experience.

• Establishes clear course expectations by publishing terminal objectives, assignment and examination dates, and the weight distribution of various evaluation categories.

• Guarantees that the content and difficulty level of exam materials align with the course terminal objectives.

• Exhibits consistency and fairness in exam preparation and grading while providing timely feedback to students.

• Incorporates and promotes the responsible use of AI technologies in the classroom to improve teaching and learning outcomes.

• Demonstrates the capacity to identify, assess, and manage appropriate and inappropriate student usage of AI tools in academic settings.

• Performs additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A doctorate in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required, with a minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or a related computational discipline.

• Applicants are required to upload unofficial graduate-level transcripts along with their application.

• Degrees must be conferred by an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, or by an international institution deemed to hold equivalent accreditation.

• A minimum of three to five years of practical professional experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, intelligent systems, or related computational technologies.

• Proven experience in AI-enabled software development, which may involve machine learning pipelines, generative AI tools, data modeling, or full-stack application development that integrates AI services.

• Industry-recognized certifications or professional credentials relevant to artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or software development.

• Strong expertise in AI concepts and technologies, coupled with effective communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical topics to diverse learners.

• Understanding of ethical, responsible, and secure AI practices, including knowledge of data governance, bias mitigation, and responsible AI deployment.

• Faculty must demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development in instructional technology, digital literacy, and responsible AI practices.
