This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• The chosen candidate will act as an instructor in the MSW program, delivering courses throughout the curriculum at the micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
• The teaching commitment encompasses 24 credits, divided into 12 credits for both the fall and spring semesters.
• Courses may be taught in-person or synchronously online, depending on the candidate's availability.
• The candidate will engage in departmental activities, including participation in department meetings, faculty assembly meetings, and contributing to the development and assessment of the program.
• Candidates must possess a master’s degree in social work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Candidates are required to have an earned doctorate in social work or a related field by August 1, 2026.
• Candidates must have a minimum of two years of practice experience following their master’s social work degree.
• Candidates should be capable of teaching courses across the social work curriculum at both the MSW and BSW levels.
• The candidate must demonstrate a proven ability to collaborate with colleagues and students from various backgrounds and identities within an ethnically and culturally diverse campus environment.
