Virtualization Backup Engineer, Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conducting troubleshooting and analysis, which includes examining log files.

• Serving as a technical point of contact in collaboration with fellow IT professionals.

• Taking full responsibility for the customer's issue from the onset of a support case until resolution, performing troubleshooting on our side (in Veeam) as well as within third-party components from Microsoft and VMware. This includes verifying whether the issue is known or unknown, determining if it’s a defect, and identifying if it results from misconfiguration, while rectifying it as a break/fix scenario and educating the customer on the process and interaction.

• Accurately documenting all customer interactions within the agreed SLA in our CRM tool.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in both Spanish and English (reading/writing/speaking).

• Advanced user or administrative expertise in the following areas: Windows Server 2016 / 2019 / 2022 / 2025, Windows 10 / 11.

• Practical experience with TCP/IP (operating systems, firewall configurations) and networking configuration/troubleshooting (NAT, ports, DHCP, DNS).

• Knowledge of UNIX and/or Linux, VMware ESX(i), Microsoft Hyper-V, Microsoft Exchange server administration, and database engines (SQL/Oracle) is a plus.

• Capability to swiftly learn, comprehend, and articulate technical information.

• Willingness and enthusiasm to take ownership of client concerns until resolved.

• Outstanding time management abilities.

• Capacity to function in a fast-paced work environment.
