Virtualization Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Gaining the trust of potential customers through effective execution of discovery, analysis, and design workshops that shape and guide the customer’s use cases and architectural design choices to align with the Red Hat solution.

• Planning and defining delivery projects while leading consulting teams through successful pilot and production deployments for customers.

• Creating, designing, and delivering content that empowers the wider Red Hat organization to effectively sell (pre-sales), service (consulting), and support (CEE) our Virtualization solutions at scale.

• Collaborating closely with product business units, product engineering, consulting, support, and sales to guarantee a top-tier customer experience with Red Hat’s products.

• Assisting in the creation of repeatable methodologies and tools aimed at enhancing Red Hat’s service capabilities, promoting consistent customer engagements, and minimizing delivery risks.

• Showcasing thought leadership by generating high-quality white papers, webinars, and presenting at leading industry conferences.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, or another network-related engineering field, or equivalent experience.

• Extensive and in-depth technical experience with virtualization technologies based on OpenShift and OpenStack.

• Significant experience with storage solutions for virtualization systems.

• Advanced expertise in automation technologies, ideally Ansible.

• Strong background in consultative customer interactions.

• Demonstrated history of serving in a strategic advisory role to senior business leaders.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Solution-oriented sales mindset in an environment with a variety of products and services.

• Proven capability to collaborate seamlessly with distributed cross-functional teams to achieve success for customers.

• Ability to self-study and rapidly learn new topics and apply them effectively.

• Willingness to travel weekly to client sites across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
