Virtual Speech Language Pathologist, SLP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual speech therapy sessions that prioritize student needs and align with IEPs.

• Perform thorough evaluations of speech and language capabilities.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and oversee IEPs.

• Engage in IEP meetings and manage cases for students effectively.

• Monitor session data and track student progress for consultations.

• Create comprehensive, goal-focused progress reports.

• Provide specialized services that comply with state requirements, including AAC support and speech screenings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• Valid SLP license in Washington state.

• At least 1 year of full-time experience in a school setting providing IEP-directed therapy (post-CFY).

• Proven knowledge of the IEP process and the ability to write detailed evaluation reports.

• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.

• Excellent communication skills when working with a diverse student population.

• Proficient with technology and familiar with virtual telehealth platforms.

• Availability during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

• Multilingual abilities are regarded as a significant advantage.
