This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Deliver virtual speech therapy sessions focused on student needs and aligned with IEP requirements.
• Execute thorough speech-language assessments using Parallel’s exclusive Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create, oversee, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for students receiving 'Speech Only' services as necessary.
• Methodically monitor session data and student advancements to facilitate informative IEP consultations.
• Create comprehensive, goal-driven progress reports for each reporting cycle.
• Offer specialized state-specific services, such as AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and supervision of SLPA.
• Possession of a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Valid SLP license in Pennsylvania.
• At least 1 year of full-time school-based experience in providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY). A minimum of 2 years of experience is preferred for case management roles.
• Proven knowledge of the IEP process, educational eligibility assessments, and the ability to craft thorough evaluation reports.
• Experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.
• Excellent communication abilities and a talent for building relationships with students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Tech-savvy with expertise in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation practices.
• Availability during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).
• Multilingual proficiency is regarded as a significant advantage.
