This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Deliver virtual speech therapy sessions focused on student needs and aligned with IEP objectives.
• Perform thorough speech-language assessments utilizing Parallel’s exclusive Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, evaluate, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.
• Attend IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for 'Speech Only' students as necessary.
• Methodically monitor session data and student progress to provide valuable IEP consultations.
• Create comprehensive, goal-oriented progress reports for each reporting cycle.
• Offer specialized state-specific services, such as AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and supervision of SLPA.
• Hold a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Possess an active SLP license in Michigan.
• Have at least 1 year of full-time school-based experience in IEP-focused therapy and evaluations (post-CFY); 2+ years preferred for case management roles.
• Exhibit proficiency in the IEP process, educational eligibility assessments, and composing comprehensive evaluation reports.
• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with students from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Be tech-savvy with capabilities in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.
• Available during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).
• Multilingual proficiency is considered a valuable advantage.
