Technical Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Providing and supporting customer connectivity solutions within VodafoneThree's MSP, ITN, and legacy MPLS networks.

• Accountable for the remote configuration, commissioning, and validation of customer services.

• Ensure a seamless delivery process and an outstanding customer experience.

• Assist in the provisioning of VodafoneThree's core IP and Data products while delivering related remote access, transmission build activities, Layer 1, 2, and 3 testing, as well as customer reporting services.

• Offer technical expertise to facilitate the delivery of intricate customer solutions, contribute to the launch of new products and technologies, and aid in the implementation of new processes and systems.

• Responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of network inventory systems, databases, and operational records.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in telecommunications with a robust background in IP and data networking.

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VPNs, and transmission technologies.

• Experience with MPLS networks and Quality of Service (QoS) in a service provider environment.

• Familiarity with network provisioning, management, and inventory systems.

• Experience in configuring and supporting multi-vendor network and firewall technologies.
