Virtual Speech Language Pathologist, SLP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Deliver student-focused, IEP-aligned virtual speech therapy sessions.

• Carry out thorough speech-language evaluations utilizing Parallel’s exclusive Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, monitor, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.

• Attend IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for “Speech Only” students as needed.

• Systematically log session data and student progress to provide meaningful IEP consultations.

• Create comprehensive, goal-oriented progress reports for each reporting period.

• Offer specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• Active SLP license in Maryland.

• At least 1 year of full-time school-based experience conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY); 2+ years of experience is preferred for case management roles.

• Proven knowledge of the IEP process, educational eligibility assessments, and drafting detailed evaluation reports.

• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.

• Outstanding communication abilities and a talent for building rapport with students from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Proficient in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools.

• Availability during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

• Multilingual proficiency is considered a valuable asset.
