DC Cx Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Review and format documents in accordance with both company and client standards.

• Support commissioning leads by conducting jobsite observations and engaging in fieldwork.

• Organize and maintain digital project files and documentation.

• Oversee and update the Project Big Board tracking system.

• Share project information with internal teams, clients, and consultants.

• Prepare and format PowerPoint presentations.

• Coordinate meeting schedules and compile comprehensive meeting minutes.

• Write field reports based on jobsite observations.

• Develop pre-functional checklists and procedures for MEP commissioning and functional performance tests.

• Offer technical support regarding building systems issues.

• Assist in assessing the condition of equipment and systems.

• Conduct basic engineering calculations.

• Create commissioning plans, specifications, and Owners Project Requirements documents.

• Diagnose issues with HVAC, plumbing, and related control systems.

• Execute supervised functional testing and verification of equipment and systems in the field.

• Aid the commissioning team with additional assigned tasks.

• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, though not mandatory.

• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal commissioning team members.

• Eagerness to learn and contribute positively.

• Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Teams.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Proficient in reading and clearly articulating English.

• Capability to follow both written and verbal instructions accurately.

• Ability to write legibly for logs and documentation purposes.

• Competence to work independently and take initiative, as well as within team environments.

• Excellent oral and written communication abilities.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team setting.

• Skill in prioritizing tasks amidst changing projects and deadlines.

• Confident and positive demeanor with colleagues and clients.

• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 30–40%, with potential travel up to 45%.

• Capability to support HVAC, plumbing, control systems, commissioning documentation, testing, and basic engineering calculations.
