This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maine.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual speech therapy sessions that are centered around students and align with their IEPs.

• Perform thorough speech-language assessments using Parallel’s proprietary Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create, monitor, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.

• Engage in IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for students receiving "Speech Only" services as necessary.

• Systematically document session data and track student progress to facilitate valuable IEP consultations.

• Create comprehensive, goal-focused progress reports for each reporting cycle.

• Offer specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.


⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• An active SLP license in the state of Maine.

• At least 1 year of full-time school-based experience providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY); 2+ years of experience is preferred for case management roles.

• Proven knowledge of the IEP process, educational eligibility determinations, and the ability to write comprehensive evaluation reports.

• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is highly beneficial.

• Outstanding communication skills with a knack for building rapport with students from varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Technologically proficient with virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation.

• Availability during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

• Multilingual proficiency is regarded as a significant advantage.
