Virtual Speech Language Pathologist, SLP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.

📋 Description

• Deliver virtual speech therapy sessions that are centered around students and aligned with IEP requirements.

• Perform thorough speech-language assessments utilizing Parallel’s proprietary Clinical Test Library and automated Report Writer.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, monitor, and enhance Individualized Education Programs.

• Attend IEP meetings and provide dedicated case management for students requiring "Speech Only" services as needed.

• Methodically track session data and student progress to provide valuable insights during IEP consultations.

• Create comprehensive, goal-oriented progress reports for each reporting period.

• Offer specialized state-specific services, including AAC support, Pre-K interventions, speech screenings, and SLPA supervision.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).

• An active SLP license in Kentucky.

• At least 1 year of full-time experience in a school-based setting conducting IEP-directed therapy and evaluations (post-CFY); 2+ years of experience is preferred for case management roles.

• Proven expertise in the IEP process, educational eligibility assessments, and writing comprehensive evaluation reports.

• Previous experience with Medicaid billing systems is a significant advantage.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with students from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Tech-savvy, with proficiency in virtual telehealth platforms and digital documentation practices.

• Availability during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm).

• Multilingual skills are viewed as a considerable asset.
